The Mobile SPCA Nursing Home Visitation team is looking for new members. We need people who are willing to make a commitment to the program and who will show up regularly. Right now the demand for our visits far exceeds our capabilities. We visit both the Regency Atria and a different nursing home or assisted living facility once a month.
We encourage you to bring your pet for a trial and see for yourself how rewarding these visits can be. You will laugh, you will cry, you will smile as you see how much the interaction with animals means to the lonely residents.
