The Mobile SPCA will participate in the ASPCA National Adoption Weekend Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 to encourage the public to safely complete adoptions from home amid the COVID-19 crisis.
“Since Mobile continues to have a high number of Covid cases, we will continue to complete adoptions online and by appointment. With as many animals as we care for on a daily basis, we must safeguard our staff from infection. Our office staff is working tirelessly and is glad to help everyone over the phone, by appointment or via email. The health and safety of the animals entrusted to us and the staff that we consider our family must be first and foremost in our minds. But, please do not hesitate to phone or, better, email us. Please watch our website and Facebook page for animals that are available for adoption, complete the online application and the staff will give you a call and set up an appointment for you to come a meet our great cats and dogs,” says Janine Woods, Executive Director.
